Bellavista

While we are in our infancy as a project and always growing as a community, people are starting to find out that this is a special place to share with their loved ones and friends. As such, we’ve experienced growing requests to host groups and special events of all different kinds and sizes.

While we do have some capacity to host small-to-medium sized groups, the ideal size to keep everyone comfortable is under 25 people. We currently have 3 cabinas and 3 treehouses to rent, with sleeping and ‘heads in beds’ space for 24 people. Our community center's open-air rancho can accommodate student groups and those comfortable sleeping in a group 'camp' setting of up to 15 people, and is serviced by our community dining area, showers, and restroom facilities.

Special Events and Retreats

Student Groups and Learning Excursions

Finca Bellavista has hosted two college student groups for 2-month timeframes (one in 2009 and one in 2010). On-site and off-site excursions and courses can be arranged for any type of group seeking a truly unique learning experience and environment. Ideas for educational courses at Finca Bellavista can include (but are not limited to):

Archeology, Spanish, Geology, Outdoor Leadership, Environmental Studies, Biology, Ornithology, Yoga Clinics, Wellness Workshops, Tropical Gardening, Cooking, and much more.

***Group rates are contingent upon desired amenities, dates, and availability. Special meals and feasts can be arranged, along with daily meals and food service (including vegetarian) for groups. Please note that Finca Bellavista is not a full-service resort, spa, or hotel, and we can only accommodate guests that anticipate having a casual, laid-back, ‘go-with-the-flow’ experience for their group. We strongly recommend that at least one member of the group visit Finca Bellavista prior to hosting any type of group or special event on site. We also REQUIRE a point-of-contact for groups and/or a designated leader for all group visits of more than 10 people.***
