  ProCat - Proyecto Conservación del Área Talamanca (ProCAT) has the goal of improving the state of biodiversity knowledge for the Caribbean Talamanca Region of Costa Rica so that management and conservation decision-making can be based on a solid scientific foundation. The project's focal species is the jaguar, which once inhabited the entire region but is now rare or absent throughout much of its historic range. In the Caribbean lowland of Costa Rica, the jaguar is both an indicator of ecosystem health and has powerful spiritual value among the Bribri and Cabécar Amerindians, who are native to the region.
  Osa Conservancy - Friends of the Osa - Friends of the Osa’s mission is to conserve the terrestrial and marine biological diversity of the Osa Peninsula. Our Vision is to maintain a largely forested landscape surrounded by an intact coastal zone that protects the Osa’s unparalleled wealth of biodiversity while supporting sustainable human livelihoods.

  WWF CA (Costa Rica office) - Our goal is to develop sustainable agriculture that diminishes the impact to the marine ecosystem, and therefore, to two of the main activities that depend on the reef, the fishing and the tourism.
  TNC Central America (Costa Rica office) - Its mission is to protect the plants, animals, and natural communities that represent the diversity of life on Earth by protecting the lands and waters they need to survive.
  Parks in Peril (La Amistad) - Since 1995, Parks in Peril (PiP) has been working in the Costa Rica-Panama binational region to strengthen conservation capacity in local organizations and communities within the Talamanca-Caribbean Biological Corridor.
  Parks in Peril (Corcovado) - The Parks in Peril program (PiP) continues to work with the leading conservation organization in Costa Rica, Fundación Neotrópica, to consolidate the management at Corcovado.
  TNC Osa Campaign - Through the Campaign our partners are conserving the biodiversity of the Osa by strengthening national parks, creating biological corridors between them, and involving local communities in conservation efforts.
  Cl Hotspots Mesoamerica (Costa Rica office) - CI's approach to protecting Mesoamerica's natural bounty involves conservation as well as nurturing economic opportunities for people living in the region. CI has joined with public avencies and wildlife groups in Mexico and Central America to promote the need for protected areas. Establishing and linking nature reserves will safeguard jaguars, black howler monkeys, river turtles and other threatened species against extinction.
  Cl Hotspots Book Chapter - Conservation action to counter the ongoing threats to the Mesoamerica Hotspot concentrates on the creation and maintenance of the Mesoamerican Biological Corridor, as well as numerous other initiatives to integrate sustainable development with biodiversity conservation.
  CRCT - CRCT is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting biodiversity, advocating sustainable development, and promoting ecological, cultural and educational programs that advance respectful relationships with the Earth, while at the same time safeguarding local cultural heritage.
  CCT - The CCT is a non-Governmental environmental Organization , pioneering science in Costa Rica. From their foundation in 1962, prestigious scientists and professionals, have made of the CCT one of the most outstanding and influential institutions at Latin American level in the matter of investigation and conservation of the natural resources.
  Corcovado Foundation - To support and improve the existing conservation efforts made for the Osa Peninsula and other conservation areas in Costa Rica . We will accomplish this by assisting the national park system, supporting and empowering the local communities and promoting sustainability among the local businesses.
